Project Scope

IFS are one of the largest online furniture distributors and retailers in the UK. The import, sell and manage the logistics for their both their own extensive online furniture catalogues, and other prominent wholesalers. They approached five rivers to become a partner in fulfilling a highly ambitious bunnies strategy.

What We Did

The daunting scope and timeframe of the development was categorised into four distinct phases: Brand Design, Website Development, Marketing and Application Development.

Brand Design

To date we have designed over 10 brand identities for the business components that makeup IFS. Each design is target market orientated and incorporates our creative approach to corporate identity.

Website Development

Five Rivers developed a secure CMS solution that allowed IFS to manage multiple Websites within a single permissions based login. The Web solution is template based allowing for rapid launching of newly branded portals and also publishing products to multiple online locations.

Marketing

Now in its 5th year, the online marketing campaign has been an unqualified success story. In the highly competitive online furniture retailing market, we have enabled online sales to grow consistently while the actual budget is reduced. Initially focusing on an aggressive PPC based campaign, we've now achieved full saturation for key search terms.

Application development

After intense consultation with the client and their supply chain, Five Rivers architected and developed a 100% online solution to manage the logistics of millions of pounds of furniture. The multi user systems manages the delivery life cycle as well as being integrated with different client stock control systems.
